Allow only your computer to access your WiFi base station using MAC addressing on Linksys

First, you'll need to find your MAC address.

1. Connect to your wireless network.

2. Open your Web browser and type in the Web address http://192.168.1.1

3. Press Enter key

4. Type in the User Name for your network

5. Type in the default Password

6. Press OK button

7. Select the Wireless text menu item

8. Click on the Wireless MAC Filter text link

9. Select the Enable radio button

10. Select the "Permit only ..." radio button

11. Click the Edit MAC Filter List button

12. The MAC Address Filter List window opens

13. Type in your computer's MAC Address in the first open box

14. Click the Save Settings button

15. Again, click the Save Settings button
